What To Expect From Your Lawn Care Program Applications

Properly caring for your lawn means being attentive to the season of the year and the climate in which you live. We have a unique, 6 application lawn program designed specifically for this area.

1. EARLY SPRING

Your Field Service Professional will assess your lawn and apply the best products to help get it off to a great start. Controlling weeds that have germinated and are actively growing along with applying products to prevent new ones like Clover, Creeping Charlie, Dandelions, and Thistle, are important aspects of this application. Your lawn may still be dormant, but weeds are growing. The better controlled weeds are now, the fewer you will have in the summer.

2. SPRING

Your Field Service Professional will apply the right fertilizer for your lawn and will focus on controlling weeds. Making sure you are aware of problems or concerns, if any, is an important element of the partnership. We rely on you to keep us informed of any weed problems or other lawn and landscape concerns that may occur between visits. By working together, we can help provide you with the beautiful, healthy lawn you've always wanted.

3. EARLY SUMMER

At this time of the year your lawn is growing well, but so are broadleaf weeds. Creeping Charlie, Ground Ivy and many other weeds are competing with your lawn. Having a thick, well-fed lawn will prevent many of these weeds from gaining a foothold. Your Field Service Professional will apply the right amount of fertilizer and control weeds to keep your lawn healthy and growing well. Raising your mower blade at this time of year allows the grass to develop deep roots and keep weeds from germinating.

4. SUMMER

Summer is the time of year when insect activity can be at its highest. In addition to applying the proper nutrients your lawn requires and staying on top of any weed growth, your Field Service Professional will check for activity from insects such as Sod Webworm, Chinch Bugs, Bill Bug Grubs, Annual White Grubs and Armyworms. Mowing and watering properly at this time of year can mean the difference between a good and great lawn.

5. FALL

Keeping your lawn healthy by applying the right nutrients and controlling summer weeds like Violet and Wild Violet is your Field Service Professional's priority. They will also be looking for signs of disease and insect activity. During the hottest days of summer, you will want to keep your mower blade at the highest setting. Watering is best in the early morning and never in the evening.

6. LATE FALL

This is the time of year when your lawn heals itself from the pressures of summer heat and dryness. Your Field Service Professional will apply the proper amount of fertilizer to help your lawn improve root growth and build up its strength to endure the winter. Fall is the best time to core aerate and overseed your lawn, so ensure these important services are added to your lawn care program.

Add-On Services

Core Aeration

Of all the things you can do for your lawn, core aeration is one of the most important. It will reduce thatch buildup, relieve soil compaction and allow for better root growth. Core aeration removes soil cores, ensuring that the food, air and water your grass needs can penetrate down to the roots. The result? A beautiful, healthy, vibrant lawn.
